Mr. French attended the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, in Agribusiness Comprehensive. He has extensive experience in employee supervision, employee efficiencies, department safety, and production development. Mr. French has held the positions of Production Supervisor for Airguard in Rockford, IL, Manufacturing Supervisor for Newell-Rubbermaid in Freeport, IL and Unit Manager for Halsey Taylor - Thermos. He is currently the Manager of Production, the Safety Coordinator, and Corporate ISO Auditor at Euclid Chemical based out of Cleveland Ohio. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Benton United Methodist Church and the Lena United Methodist Church in Lena IL. Mr. French was elected to the Benton State Bank Board of Directors in 1984. He was elected Chairman of the Board in 2009. Mr. French has been a member of the Holding Company Board of Directors since inception in 2000.
Mr. Malone is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and was employed by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) as a Bank Examiner from May 1987 to December of 1993. Mr. Malone joined the Benton State Bank as Senior Vice President and a Director of the Board of Directors of Benton State Bank in 1993. He was elected as President & CEO in 1995. He also serves as a member of the Benton Community Development Corporation, Director of the Benton Business Incubator, Director of Memorial Healthcare Foundation, and a Director of Darlington Mutual Insurance Company. Mr. Malone has been a member of the Holding Company Board of Directors since inception in 2000. He obtained his insurance license in Life, Health & Disability, Property & Casualty in 2012
Ms. Orth is a 1984 graduate of Southwest Wisconsin Technical College, Fennimore receiving an associate degree in Marketing. She began her banking career in 1984 as a teller at Farmers and Merchants Bank (now Clare Bank) in Shullsburg, WI. She later joined the staff of Benton State Bank in 1989. Ms. Orth held the position of Branch Manager of the Shullsburg branch office from the opening date of June 12, 1997 to September of 2000. She became Vice President of the Bank in 1998 and Senior Vice President and a member of the Board of Directors of Benton State Bank in 2005. Ms. Orth was the first female director of this financial institution. Ms. Orth also serves as a Director of the Benton Business Incubator Board of Directors. Ms. Orth became a member of the Holding Company Board of Directors in 2006.
Mr. Kearns attended Loras College in Dubuque IA. He began employment at John Deere Dubuque Works in 1972 where he gained extensive experience in scheduling, shipping and production control. He has served as Manager of Product Support Marketing for John Deere Construction Equipment Company until his retirement in 2003. Mr. Kearns attended the American Banking Association Business School for Bank Directors in 1994. Mr. Kearns was elected to the Benton State Bank Board of Directors in 1979 and serves as the President of the BSB Community Bancorporation, Inc. Board of Directors. Mr. Kearns has been a member of the Holding Company Board of Directors since inception in 2000.
In 1983, Mr. Wilson received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and graduated cum laude from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1987. He was a partner in the Madison law firm of Stafford, Rosenbaum, Rieser and Hansen (now known as Stafford Rosenbaum LLP) until becoming the Attorney/Administrator/Clerk-Treasurer for the Town of Westport in February 1999. Mr. Wilson is currently a Commissioner for the Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District and involved with several other State, County, local and special district committees and commissions. Mr. Wilson has also served on committees of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Wisconsin, and Dane County Bar Association, as well as several National, State, and District planning and municipal administrator, clerk, and treasurer organizations. He was elected to the Benton State Bank Board of Directors in 1996. Mr. Wilson has been a member of the Holding Company Board of Directors since inception in 2000.
Mr. Walsh is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Stout, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in construction management. He serves as a general contractor for Epic Construction, a business entity which he is owner, Vice President and Project Manager of. Since founding the company in 2002, Mr. Walsh has been involved in managing several million dollar commercial projects ranging from historical renovations, hotel/restaurant construction, industrial, institutional, retail and developmental projects. He serves as a member/volunteer for the Potosi-Tennyson and Dubuque Area Chamber of Commerce, Sts. Andrew-Thomas Parish, and a member of the Port of Potosi Chapter of the American Breweriana Association. Mr. Walsh was elected to the Benton State Bank Board of Directors in 2006. Mr. Walsh became a member of the Holding Company Board of Directors in 2010.
Mr. Pedley received his law enforcement and administrative education at Blackhawk Technical College at Janesville, WI and the University of Wisconsin-Platteville & Madison campuses. He served as a deputy sheriff and later served several years as the Green County Undersheriff. Scott was appointed Lafayette County Sheriff in 1990 by Wisconsin Governor Tommy Thompson and retired from that position in January, 2015. During his 36 year law enforcement career, Scott has served on many boards and committees. He is the Past-President of the Badger State Sheriff's Association. He has served on the Governor's Commission on Law Enforcement and Crime. Scott has been appointed and reappointed by three (3) of Wisconsin's Governors to serve the people of the State of Wisconsin as the Chairman of the 15 member Law Enforcement Standards Board which sets hiring and training requirements for the approximate 16,600 law enforcement, jail and secure juvenile detention officers employed in Wisconsin. He is a member of the Adjunct Faculty at the Emergency Management Institute in Emmitsburg, Maryland which is operated by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Scott is also a member of the Community Leadership Alliance (CLA) of Southwest Wisconsin. Scott owns and operates his fifth generation family farm in rural Shullsburg, WI. He is a Freemason and member of Amicitia Lodge #25 in Shullsburg. Scott also serves as an officer of the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Wisconsin and is a member of Zor Shriners. Mr. Pedley was elected to the Benton State Bank Board of Directors on March 23, 2010. Mr Pedley is currently serving as an Auditor at the Benton State Bank.
